"Weather and Climate : Learning about Weather Transition" (Literacy+Art+Science+Team Project+Outdoor Activities) <Age> 6-10 years old <Date & Time> Date: July 22nd-26th (5days) Time: 9am-2pm (5hours) <Program Features> ** Literacy Development Curriculum** : Engage in an interactive learning experience that emphasizes collaboration and the practical application of the BC literacy curriculum through hands-on reading and writing tasks. **Inquiry-Oriented Approach for Learning** : Explore various themes through an inquiry-based approach that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Each theme is designed to foster curiosity and deeper understanding. **Reggio Inspired Projects with Innovative Themes** : Participate in creative projects inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which focuses on experiential learning and self-expression through innovative and thematic art activities. ** Support the development of social skills through team-based projects led by specialized and experienced teachers** <Teachers> **Mrs. Stella: Director of Wonder&Grow, Bachelor of Arts degree majored in child welfare & studies and special program for counseling, Completed master course majored in child psychotherapy, Qualified Play/Art Therapist for children and youth. Certified Early childhood Educator &Special needs educator in BC. **Mrs. Jennifer: Professional Masters of Education - Progress Classroom Specialist. Bachelor of Education &Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science Degree from UBC. Currently Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher at Maple Ridge Pit Meadows School District with Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate. <Please Note> **Bring Your Own Lunch & Snacks : Participants are required to bring their own meals and snacks each day** <Cancellation Policy> **Full Refund: Available if you cancel up to 4 weeks before the start date. **Half Refund: Available if you cancel up to 3 weeks before the start date. **No Refund: No refunds will be issued if you cancel less than 3 weeks before the start date.
